While talking to another mother at one of the our many field trips I was introduced to what I now call Mommy Cards.

A Mommy Card is a business card that mommies give to one another to avoid the hassle of scrounging through there purses for a pen and paper to exchange names and phone numbers. The card contains mommy's name, the first name of each of her children, mommy's phone number and e mail address. It may also contain a backside detailing play date information, kind of like a doctor's appointment card does, but that is optional.

Mommy Cards can be made anywhere business cards can be found but I get mine from http://www.vistaprint.com/. For around $6.00 you can get 250 customized Mommy Cards and avoid the, "let me find a pen and paper."
